Safeguarding Commitment
Our Safeguarding Framework
Active Queensway operates in public community spaces and utilises established national sports infrastructure. Rather than creating separate guidelines, we strictly adopt and enforce the gold-standard national policies of our governing bodies:
During Coached and Guided Sessions: We operate under the England Athletics Safeguarding Policies (covering both adults and children). You can read their full guidelines at the England Athletics Safeguarding Hub.
During Weekend parkrun Activities: We operate under the parkrun Global Safeguarding Policy, which protects children, young people, and adults at risk. You can read their complete framework at the parkrun Safeguarding Hub.
